Dr. Kapil Sharma MBBS, MD, DM Gastroenterology Director and Head Gastroenterology Batra Hospital and Medical research centre, New Delhi. He had more than 15 years of experience in field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. As a committed doctor, he had undergone advance endoscopic training in endoscopic ultrasound and third space endoscopy. Now he is amongst few Gastroenterologist across the country who do interventional endoscopic ultrasound and per oral endoscopic myotomy. As a astute Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, Endoscopist and Endosonologist, he has pursued his MBBS from Government Medical College, Aurangabad (Maharashtra), MD (General Medicine) from S P Medical College, Bikaner (Rajasthan) and DM Gastroenterology from King George Medical University, Lucknow (UP). As a academician he joined Institute of Liver and Biliary Science, New Delhi as an assistant professor hepatology and contributed on asia pacific consensus guideline on acute on chronic liver failure. He had around 20 publications to his credit in various national and international journals. He has been bestowed with various awards at National and International level. He got travel grant award at Asia Pacific Digestive Week, Bangkok, Thailand and Young Clinician Award at Shanghai, China. He had exposure of more than 50,000 diagnostic endoscopy, 5000 therapeutic endoscopy, 1000 ERCPs and 500 endoscopic ultra sound.
