SitaRam Stationers was established in 1975 by Mr Sitaram and is managed by him. He started his journey as a small retailer of stationery and art supplies in South Extension, New Delhi. In a few years of his business tenure, he witnessed the growing demand of international products in India and was contacted by artists, architects, designers, students, and other clientele that expressed their interest in high quality art supplies (difficult to avail in the country at the time). The same led to engaging conversations with importers, where he shared with them his vision and broad perspective of the Indian demand for art supplies. His investment in market development and expansion of an international product range eventually led to what we call “a One Stop Shop” for Art & Design enthusiasts. In 1993, he began to nurture his vision of this One Stop Shop, to not just cater to the needs of (his) clients all over India via an extensive product range but also create an experiential environment with technological initiatives that would transform the art supply business in India. With exchange of ideas and intellectual conversations with his son, Karan, Mr.Sitaram established Sitaram Enterprises, Lajpat Nagar in 2010; India’s biggest art & stationery store managed by Mr. Karan Dev Arora.
